Conditions applicable to reservations, events and services at IMA Val d'Isère
Purpose and Scope
These Terms & Conditions (T&C) govern commercial relations between IMA Val d'Isère and its customers. They apply to any table reservation at the restaurant, participation in private events, or any other service offered by IMA Val d'Isère. By making a reservation or using our services, you accept all of these terms. These T&C replace any previous or conflicting conditions.
Reservation Terms
Online and phone reservations: You can make a reservation via our website www.ima-club.com or by contacting us directly at +33 7 66 94 08 26. When making a reservation, you must provide your name, surname, email address, phone number, preferred date and time, and number of guests.
Confirmation: A reservation confirmation will be sent to you by email or SMS including your reservation details (date, time, number of covers). This confirmation is final and binds your responsibility.
Booking lead time: Reservations must be made at least 24 hours before the desired date. For urgent requests or groups of more than 10 people, please contact us directly by phone.
Amendments: Modifications to your reservation must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled date. You can modify the date, time or number of guests by contacting us by phone or email.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Free cancellation: You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to 72 hours before the reservation time.
Cancellation with charges: Cancellation made less than 72 hours before the reservation date will result in retention of 50% of the estimated meal package amount (based on number of guests and menu chosen). If you have not chosen a specific menu, we estimate 75 euros per cover.
No-show: If you do not appear at the time of your reservation without prior cancellation or without contacting us within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, the full estimated amount will be charged. This includes reservation fees and estimated meal cost.
Refund: In case of cancellation entitling you to a refund, it will be processed by the same payment method used for the reservation within 7 to 10 business days.
Exceptional circumstances: IMA Val d'Isère reserves the right to cancel a reservation in case of exceptional closure, health emergency, major event or force majeure. In this case, we will offer you a credit equal to the amount of your reservation, usable at a later date.
Pricing and Payment Terms
Pricing: Prices displayed on our website are in euros and exclude taxes if applicable. Taxes are calculated according to current French legislation. Prices are subject to change at any time, but changes will not affect already confirmed reservations.
Payment methods: Payments can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfer, or cash on site. For online reservations, payment must be made at the time of reservation or upon arrival at the restaurant according to the terms displayed.
Invoicing: An invoice will be provided to you at the time of payment or later if requested. It includes details of services rendered and applicable taxes.
Deposit: For private events, receptions, corporate meals or groups of more than 15 people, a deposit of 30% of the estimated total amount will be requested to confirm the reservation. The balance must be paid before or during the event according to agreed terms.
Food and Beverage Services
Menus and selections: Our menus are available on www.ima-club.com or upon request. Dishes offered are subject to availability. In case of unavailability of a dish, our team will suggest an alternative of equivalent value.
Special diets and allergies: When making your reservation, you must mention any special diet, allergy or food intolerance. Our team will endeavor to offer appropriate alternatives. However, we cannot guarantee a kitchen free from cross-contamination. Persons with allergies are responsible and must inform us in advance.
Beverages: Beverages are not included in the meal package unless otherwise specified. Our signature cocktails and wines are available à la carte. Any additional consumption will be billed separately.
Service duration: The standard duration of a meal is estimated between 2 and 3 hours depending on the number of guests and type of service. For specific events, this duration can be adjusted according to your request.
Quality disputes: If you notice a quality or hygiene problem, report it immediately to our team. We will endeavor to correct the problem quickly.
Private Events and Receptions
Request and quotation: For private events (receptions, corporate meals, seminars, parties, weddings, etc.), please contact us to obtain a personalized quote. An IMA event consultant will help you organize your event according to your needs and budget.
Packages: We offer event packages including venue, catering services, and beverages. Packages can be customized according to your preferences (number of guests, menus, decoration, entertainment).
Accommodation capacity: IMA Val d'Isère's accommodation capacity is 120 people in standing/cocktail configuration and 80 people in seated configuration. Custom configurations can be offered.
Event deposit: A 30% deposit is required to confirm an event reservation. The detailed quote will include agreed prices, confirmation deadlines, and payment terms.
Event cancellation: Event cancellations must be notified at least 30 days before the scheduled date. Cancellation less than 30 days before will result in forfeiture of 50% of the deposit. Cancellation less than 7 days before will result in loss of the entire deposit and billing of 30% of the estimated total amount.
Event amendments: Changes to date, number of guests or menu must be requested at least 14 days before the event. Beyond this deadline, additional charges may apply.
Restaurant Liability
IMA Val d'Isère is not responsible for damages, losses or theft occurring before, during or after your meal at the restaurant. This includes personal effects, vehicles, or any other property. We recommend leaving your valuables in a safe place.
IMA Val d'Isère is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (traffic, transportation, etc.) that may cause you to be late for your reservation.
In case of health problems occurring during your visit, IMA Val d'Isère is only responsible if the problem is directly caused by a defect in our services or proven food contamination. You accept our disclaimer regarding allergies or intolerances not declared in advance.
Guest Liability
Guests agree to respect the house rules of IMA Val d'Isère, including civility, hygiene conditions, and safety instructions. Any abusive, aggressive, discriminatory, or unlawful behavior may result in immediate expulsion without refund.
Guests are responsible for damage to the restaurant or its property caused by their own fault or that of their companions. Repairs or additional cleaning will be billed to the guest.
Guests accept that the visit may be documented by photographs or videos (for example by the restaurant's social media) and acknowledge that these images may be used for marketing or promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in these images, please notify us upon arrival.
House Rules
Dress code: Smart-casual dress code is recommended. Minimum requirement: no flip-flops, no swimwear, no visibly soiled clothing.
Age and special conditions: IMA Val d'Isère welcomes families with children in respect of restaurant tranquility. Club events (dance nights or festive events) may be reserved for adult audiences according to terms specified at reservation.
Smoking: In accordance with French law, smoking is prohibited inside the restaurant. Only terraces (if available) may allow smoking exceptionally.
Mobile phones: Use of mobile phones is permitted but we recommend silent mode to preserve the restaurant's atmosphere.
Closing time: The restaurant closes at 4 a.m. Guests must vacate the premises at this time.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with French consumer law, consumers have a 14-day withdrawal period from reservation confirmation, except for services provided before expiration of the deadline (meal consumed). For events scheduled within 14 days, the right of withdrawal is excluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your intention in writing to or by postal mail. Refund conditions will be applied according to the deadlines stipulated in the Cancellation Policy section.
Disputes and Complaints
In case of dispute or complaint, we invite you to contact us within 48 hours to discuss the situation. We will endeavor to resolve any difference amicably.
Written complaints: Complaints must be submitted in writing to contact@ima-club.com or by postal mail to 120 Rue du Parc des Sports, 73150 Val d'Isère, including details of your complaint and supporting evidence if available.
Limitation period: Any complaint must be filed within 30 days of the service date.
Applicable law and jurisdiction: These T&C are governed by French law. In case of unresolved dispute, you accept the exclusive jurisdiction of competent French courts (Chambéry or Annecy).
Final Provisions
If any provision of these T&C is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed, and the remaining provisions will remain in force.
IMA Val d'Isère reserves the right to modify these T&C at any time. Modifications become effective upon publication. Reservations made before modifications will be governed by the old terms.
These T&C, together with our Legal Notice and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IMA Val d'Isère.
